DFG Investment Advisers names new CEO – Pensions & Investments




































































<br /> Oliver E. Wriedt was named CEO of DFG Investment Advisers.James Comtois<br /> <br /> <b>Oliver E. Wriedt</b> was named CEO of DFG Investment Advisers, effective Thursday. </p> <p>He replaces <b>Volkan Kurtas</b>, who founded the firm and also serves as chief investment officer. Mr. Kurtas will continue serving as CIO.</p> <p>“DFG is a young, high-energy team. I’ve known the partners since the formation of the firm and thought this would be a fantastic home for me,” Mr. Wriedt said in a phone interview. “I’m excited to build out the businesses.”</p> <p>Mr. Wriedt added that the firm is using in-house technology to develop new credit strategies and will “continue to invest in new technology and expand our current investment platform.”</p> <p>Mr. Wriedt was co-CEO of CIFC Asset Management. As previously reported, <b>Steve Vaccaro</b>, co-founder, CIO and co-CEO, is now sole CEO.</p> <p>DFG managed $5.7 billion in assets as of April 1. </p> <p>
