UK financial regulators begin work on ‘air traffic control’

The UK’s main financial regulators have started work on an “air traffic control” system designed to reduce potential overlaps in regulation.

The Bank of England, Financial Conduct Authority, Payment Systems Regulator and Competition and Markets Authority met on July 18 to “discuss a plan to improve regulatory co-ordination”.
