Liberian central bank officials plead not guilty in court

A former governor and four other ex-officials at the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) formally pleaded “not guilty” to criminal charges on August 26.

The news comes as the current Liberian governor remains in office despite having been officially dismissed three months ago by the country’s president.
