The International Monetary Fund’s executive board has granted Chile’s government access for two years to its flexible credit line arrangements.
The FCL will be worth about $23.9 billion, the IMF said on May 29. IMF managing director Kristalina Georgieva issued a statement in mid-May strongly supporting the Chilean authorities’ FCL application.
