Dutch cash deposit ATMs to close after explosive robbery

Dutch banks have decided to shut down the country’s network of cash deposit ATMs, after a bombing last week was carried out with a new kind of explosive device.

The Dutch Banking Association said more than 500 “seal bag” machines across the country would be closed temporarily as a security measure. The machines are used by businesses to deposit cash, but have become targets for thieves.
